This patch adds a unified s3c24x0 cpu header file that selects the header file for the specific s3c24x0 cpu from the SOC and CPU configs defined in board config file. So far the console API uses the following naming convention: ======Extract====== typedef struct device_t; int device_register (device_t * dev); int devices_init (void); int device_deregister(char *devname); struct list_head* device_get_list(void); device_t* device_get_by_name(char* name); device_t* device_clone(device_t *dev); ======= which is too generic and confusing. Instead of using device_XX and device_t we change this into stdio_XX and stdio_dev This will also allow to add later a generic device mechanism in order to have support for multiple devices and driver instances. 2009-01-23NAND: rename NAND_MAX_CHIPS to CONFIG_SYS_NAND_MAX_CHIPSWolfgang Grandegger
This patch renames NAND_MAX_CHIPS to CONFIG_SYS_NAND_MAX_CHIPS and changes the default from 8 to 1 for the legacy and the new MTD NAND layer. This allows to remove all NAND_MAX_CHIPS definitions in the board config files because none of the boards use multi chip support (NAND_MAX_CHIPS > 1) so far. The bamboo and the DU440 define #define NAND_MAX_CHIPS CONFIG_SYS_MAX_NAND_DEVICE but that's bogus and did not work anyhow. This commit gets rid of a huge amount of silly white-space issues. Especially, all sequences of SPACEs followed by TAB characters get removed (unless they appear in print statements).
