2018-03-19tests/kms_chv_cursor_fail: Handle cleanup better.Maarten Lankhorst
Clean up cursor fb in cleanup_crtc, which means that cursor fb has to be created after prepare_crtc() is called. This will fix a small leak when a subtest fails. Signed-off-by: Maarten Lankhorst <maarten.lankhorst@linux.intel.com> Reviewed-by: Ville Syrjälä <ville.syrjala@linux.intel.com>
2018-03-19tests/kms_chv_cursor_fail: Reorder tests, and use ↵Maarten Lankhorst
igt_display_require_output_on_pipe. This test is purely about the pipe fifo underrun, so not all outputs need to be tested. Reorder the tests to run per pipe first, this will save a modeset for all different sizes when the tests are run per-binary, and another modeset on each subtest when more than 1 output is connected. 2018-02-20tests/kms_chv_cursor_fail: Use igt_display_reset() and igt_pipe_crc_drain()Maarten Lankhorst
This reduces the amount of state to reset on each preparation, and allows us to keep CRC enabled. With 2 outputs on KBL the test time goes from approximately 9.2s to 7s on KBL. Signed-off-by: Maarten Lankhorst <maarten.lankhorst@linux.intel.com> Reviewed-by: Daniel Vetter <daniel.vetter@ffwll.ch>
2018-02-01lib/igt_fb: Add igt_put_cairo_ctx as counter to igt_get_cairo_ctxMaarten Lankhorst
This will allow support for NV12 in the future, where igt_get_cairo_ctx will return a RGB image to draw with, which will be converted in igt_put_cairo_ctx so tests don't have to add special support for NV12. This is the same as cairo_destroy + checking for errors, but not all tests use this correctly so it's better to have a single handler for it. 2017-03-21Revert "lib: Open debugfs files for the given DRM device"Tomeu Vizoso
This reverts commit 301ad44cdf1b868b1ab89096721da91fa8541fdc. When a render-only device is opened and gem_quiescent_gpu is called, we need to use the debugfs dir for the master device instead. Signed-off-by: Tomeu Vizoso <tomeu.vizoso@collabora.com>
2017-03-21lib: Open debugfs files for the given DRM deviceTomeu Vizoso
When opening a DRM debugfs file, locate the right path based on the given DRM device FD. This is needed so, in setups with more than one DRM device, any operations on debugfs files affect the expected DRM device. v2: - rebased and fixed new API additions v3: - updated chamelium test, which was missed previously - use the minor of the device for the debugfs path, not the major - have a proper exit handler for calling igt_hpd_storm_reset with the right device fd. This reduces the runtime of the tests from ~200s on my 30 fps 4k panel to 10s. Cc: Ville Syrjälä <ville.syrjala@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Maarten Lankhorst <maarten.lankhorst@linux.intel.com>
2016-06-09tests/kms_chv_cursor_fail: Remove extra igt_pipe_crc_start.Maarten Lankhorst
There is a extra call to igt_pipe_crc_start that is not matched to any stop. Because of this the exit handler tries to reset the crc source on exit while the pipe disabled. 2016-01-11tests/kms_chv_cursor_fail: Skip when the pipe doesn't existVille Syrjälä
Looks like I fumbled things when I made kms_chv_cursor_fail iterate over all pipes. It fails to check that the pipe actually exists, and so fails on < 3 pipe platforms. Add the necessary checks to skip on non-existing pipes. Signed-off-by: Ville Syrjälä <ville.syrjala@linux.intel.com>
2016-01-08tests/kms_chv_cursor_fail: Add a test to exercise CHV pipe C cursor failVille Syrjälä
The test tries to anger CHV pipe C cursor by walking the edges of the screen while moving the cursor across the screen edge. The actual hw issue only occurs on pipe C, and only on the left screen edge. The testcase can walk all the edges though, and on all pipes, just so I could make sure the failure doesn't occur there.
