Boards used to specify zreladdr in their Makefile.boot with zreladdr-y := x, so conflicting zreladdrs were silently overwritten. This patch changes this to zreladdr-y += x, so that we end up with multiple words in zreladdr in such a case. We can detect this later and complain if necessary. 2011-09-26ARM: add an extra temp register to the low level debugging addruart macroNicolas Pitre
Some platforms (like OMAP not to name it) are doing rather complicated hacks just to determine the base UART address to use. Let's give their addruart macro some slack by providing an extra work register which will allow for much needed cleanups. This is basically a no-op as this commit is only adding the extra argument to the macro but no one is using it yet. 2011-08-12ARM: gpio: make trivial GPIOLIB implementation the defaultRussell King
Rather than marking the mach/gpio.h header files which want to use the trivial GPIOLIB implementation, mark those which do not want to use it instead. This means that by default, you get the trivial implementation and only have to do something extra if you need to. This should encourage the use of the trivial default implementation. As an additional bonus, several gpio.h header files become empty. Many of the gpio_to_irq implementations use the gpiolib version of this function. Provide the standard gpiolib gpio_to_irq() for everyone, but allow platforms to override it if they wish. Add a callback so that per-arch can do pre-sleep and post-resume gpio configuration so that for the S3C64XX, the GPIO configuration is restored before the sleep mode is cleared. 2011-06-24ARM: pm: convert cpu_suspend() to a normal functionRussell King
cpu_suspend() has a weird calling method which makes it only possible to call from assembly code: it returns with a modified stack pointer to finish the suspend, but on resume, it 'returns' via a provided pointer. We can make cpu_suspend() appear to be a normal function merely by swapping the resume pointer argument and the link register. Do so, and update all callers to take account of this more traditional behaviour. Replace sysdev classes and struct sys_device objects used for "core" power management by Samsung platforms with struct syscore_ops objects that are simpler. 2011-03-15ARM: S5P: Add function to register gpio interrupt bank dataMarek Szyprowski
This patch removes all global data from common s5p gpio interrupt handler code. This enables to reuse this code on EXYNOS4 platform. Instead of global data (IRQ_GPIOINT interrupt number, S5P_GPIOINT_GROUP_MAXNR groups count), a s5p_register_gpioint_bank() function is introduced. It is aimed to be called from gpiolib init.
