2011-10-08ARM: pxa: pxa95x is incompatible with earlier pxaArnd Bergmann
We cannot support ARMv5 and ARMv7 based boards in a single kernel, so introduce a new option in mach-pxa to select between the two. The PJ4 (ARMv7) based boards are now only visible when CONFIG_ARCH_PXA_V7 is set, the other boards are only visible when it's not set. 2011-10-08ARM: pxa: make zylonite_pxa*_init declaration match codeArnd Bergmann
When support for zylonite is disabled, the zylonite_pxa300_init and zylonite_pxa320_init functions are not there, but the declaration is still kept around if any other boards for the same soc are enabled. Aside of the usual motivation for constification, this function has a history of being abused a hook for interrupt and other fixups so I turned this function const ages ago in the MIPS code but it should be done treewide. Convert PCIBIOS_MIN_IO and PCIBIOS_MIN_MEM to variables to allow multi-platform builds. This also removes the requirement for a platform to have a mach/hardware.h. The default values for i/o and mem are 0x1000 and 0x01000000, respectively. Per Arnd Bergmann, other values are likely to be incorrect, but this commit does not try to address that issue. 2011-07-02ARM: pm: allow suspend finisher to return error codesRussell King
There are SoCs where attempting to enter a low power state is ignored, and the CPU continues executing instructions with all state preserved. It is over-complex at that point to disable the MMU just to call the resume path. Instead, allow the suspend finisher to return error codes to abort suspend in this circumstance, where the cpu_suspend internals will then unwind the saved state on the stack. cpu_suspend() has a weird calling method which makes it only possible to call from assembly code: it returns with a modified stack pointer to finish the suspend, but on resume, it 'returns' via a provided pointer. We can make cpu_suspend() appear to be a normal function merely by swapping the resume pointer argument and the link register. Do so, and update all callers to take account of this more traditional behaviour.
