2012-01-05Boottime - A tool for automatic measurement of kernel and possible boot ↵Jonas Aaberg
loader boot time. The overhead is very low and the results will be found under sysfs/bootime, as well as detailed results in debugfs under boottime/. The bootgraph* files are compatible with scripts/bootgraph.pl. The reason for this patch is to provide data (sysfs/boottime) suitable for automatic testcases as well as help for developers to reduce the boot time (debugfs). 2012-01-05mmc: mmci: Change vdd_handler to a generic ios handlerUlf Hansson
The purpose of the vdd_handler does not make sense. We remove it and use a more generic approach instead. A new "ios" handler is thus added, the purpose of which e.g. can be to control GPIO pins to a levelshifter. Previously the vdd_handler was also used for making additional changes to the MMCIPOWER register bits. This option is now removed. This patch is based upon a patch from Sebastian Rasmussen. 2012-01-05mmci: Provide option to configure bus signal directionUlf Hansson
The ST Micro variant supports bus signal direction indication. A new member in the variant struct is added for this. Moreover the actual signal direction configuration is board specific, thus the amba mmci platform data is extended with a new member to be able provide mmci with these specific board configurations. This patch is based upon a patch from Sebastian Rasmussen. TEE working now for Android, tested ok with COPS! * Updated according to review comments - Added ST-Ericsson copyright headers to all tee files. - Fixed problem with not using readl/writel when using ioremap. - Fixed problem with forgetting to do iounmap on special case. - Fixed incorrect usage when doing copy_to_user when writing to the device. - Added architecture dependent file for the tee service that calls the secure world. - Added support for more several inputs (sharedmemory buffers) for tee. - Added dummy macro to map MT_MEMORY device. - Fixed memory leak in secure world due to not closing a TEE session correctly from the kernel. - Now we only copies input buffer from user space for tee. - Documented structures in tee.h. - Moved SVP implementation into arch/arm/mach-ux500 folder. - Added new config flags for ux500 and SVP regarding TEE driver. - Update mach-ux500/Kconfig: - Enable TEE_UX500 by default when using target hardware. - Enabel TEE_SVP by default when building simulator. - Fix the cache sync problem: not request ROM code to clean cache - ioremap for ICN_BASE, remove static mapping in cpu-db8500.c. - Fix ioremap of ICN_BASE and do iounmap after use. 2012-01-05regulators: ab8500: Add support of low voltage batteryBengt Jonsson
Low voltage batteries have a wider voltage range with lower operating voltages. Some consumers in the platform may not work with the lower voltages and therefore need an extra regulator to boost the voltage in this case. This driver adds support for checking the consumers that need higher voltage (Vaux1, 2 and 3 regulators, 3 V SIM) and control the external buck/boost regulator accordingly. Note that to utilize the low voltage battery support, the battery voltage thresholds must be changed. This applies for the low battery voltage threshold of the battery manager and the OTP setting for the AB8500 BattOk levels. As the regulator platform data is about to grow with external regulators, this information is moved to a new structure provided by the regulator driver.
