2009-03-20UBIFS: Implement read-only UBIFS support in U-BootStefan Roese
The U-Boot UBIFS implementation is largely a direct copy from the current Linux version (2.6.29-rc6). As already done in the UBI version we have an "abstraction layer" to redefine or remove some OS calls (e.g. mutex_lock() ...). This makes it possible to use the original Linux code with very little changes. And by this we can better update to later Linux versions. I removed some of the Linux features that are not used in the U-Boot version (e.g. garbage-collection, write support). 2009-03-20Add LZO decompressor supportStefan Roese
This patch adds LZO decompression support to U-Boot. It is needed for the upcoming UBIFS support, since UBIFS uses LZO as default compressor/ decompressor. Since we only support read-only in UBIFS, only the decompressor is needed. All this is copied with minor changes from the current Linux kernel version (2.6.28-rc8). This patch only implements this LZO decompressor support for PPC. Other platforms using UBIFS will have to add the required "include/asm/unaligned.h" as well. The "eet" variant of the imx31_phycore board has an OLED display, using a s6e63d6 display controller on the first SPI interface, using GPIO57 as a chip-select for it. With this configuration you can display 256 colour BMP images in 16-bit RGB (RGB565) LCD mode. This patch will create a new board, SIMPC8313, from Sheldon Instruments. This board boots from NAND devices and is configureable for either large or small page devices. The board supports non-soldered DDR2, one ethernet port, a Marvell 88E1118 PHY, and PCI host support. The board also has a FPGA connected to the eLBC providing glue logic to a TMS320C67xx DSP.
