Having the BR2_PACKAGE_BUSYBOX_SHOW_OTHERS dependencies in package/Config.in is not very practical: it makes this file not very readable, and puts the dependency away from the package itself, which can sometimes be confusing. 2014-06-11hdparm: prevent package makefile from stripping the hdparm binaryThomas Petazzoni
Packages shouldn't strip executables by themselves, so that Buildroot controls whether stripping should occur or not. This also fixes the build on Blackfin FLAT where stripping actually doesn't work because stripping FLAT binaries is not supported.
